Why the hell is it every freaking time they show clips on the news about North Korea or Cuba or some other communist country they use stock footage from like 30 years ago?!?!?! i mean its not like these places are completely cut off from the world! and its not like they dont allow any reporters in at all! i mean if they can get footage of shootings and fighting on the streets of afghanistan and children chasing around the 'terrorist threat' im sure we could get photos of north korean every day life and military movements!!! wow, i rant good...blaze motha's |

She lived a long life of 19 years, surprisingly long for any cat. She was loved by us so much that I thought it was just almost enough to keep her with us. She went in her sleep, in her favourite spot. Ill miss my lil girl, her incredibley bitchy attitude, and her ability to get revenge on any that crossed her path. She fit in my hand as a kitten, now shes just gone. I suppose everyone has to deal with losing a childhood pet but I have to do it at 21 years old for a 19 year old cat. I cant ever remember her not being around. Im leaving in a short while to bury her somewhere in the countryside because she was originally a farm cat we brought home from our grandparents place. She was born in a hay loft with a dozen other siblings but she got the best home by far. Ill miss my little girl, she was the kindest cat in the world and her name was Ribbons. |

So just a moment ago Ive realised that the CBC is probably one of the best TV Stations of all time. While any station has its flaws the CBC's seem insignificant in comparison to almost any other. The thing that finally made it click for me is this new show CBC has. Its called 'The Big Picture' and is hosted by Avi Lewis. Dont know who he is? Put his name into wikipedia and you'll find out what you've been missing! But this new show plays a variety of documentaries, one each week, and discusses it on air with various guests. Try watching this show people...its more educating than anything else on im sure.

Okay so heres the jist (gist?) of whats been goin on in my life lately (not in any particular order):
friends; moving home, moving away, becoming distant, becoming closer, being annoying and being the best thing since sliced bread.
work; hell on earth, not worth the pain or the absolutely abysmal pay.
family; niece's first bday this friday (cant wait!!!), family moving out, family yelling, family fighting, father getting more and more on my (and everybody else's) nerves every day.
in general; movies (yay cheap seats), drinking (I LOVE RUM), smoking, smoking up (rachel we need to hook up this weekend!), eating yummy food (massawa is cheap and good but gives you mega heart burn), playing video games (yay dorky games), etc...etc...you get the picture.
so yeah...im pretty uninteresting reading back on all that crap, lol, but oh well. school starts in less than two weeks...and let me tell you i am less than thrilled about it. coincidentally i have a story about how stupid and annoying the university of manitoba really is. So my grandparents pay my tuition (yes im one of those) but they live in Dauphin so they have to mail a cheque, and with that cheque my grandmother always attaches a note saying that the tuition is being paid by her but its a gift and im to recieve the reciept for tax purposes...blah blah blah. So this year my grandmother sent the cheque as usual but she made a tiny little mistake. She accidentally shorted them on the cheque by 30 cents....yes 30 cents. So the university sent me the reciept and a copy of the cheque (as usual) but this time they included their own cute little note saying, "Please note that you still owe $0.30 on your first term tuition." I couldnt believe it when I read it. First I just laughed, then I realized that they meant it. I understand they have to get the money they are owed...but COME ON!!! 30 fucking cents!!! Ive now realized how greedy and uncaring ANY institution can be. |

it all sucks right now! all of it! not one FUCKING thing in my piece of shit life is good right now! did i offend some greater power?! did i do something to deserve a life with absolutely no possible positive outcome?!?! i can honestly say i am so fed up with all of it right now that i dont know what the fuck im going to do... i am so lost that even if i was thrown the biggest life preserver with the strongest rope attached i could not be pulled from this sea of complete bullshit that is my life! i dont want it to be like this anymore!!! i cannot believe i am in such a sad state; the ultimate loser. |

I feel as though I am being pulled in a thousand different directions right now. Job issues/job offers, staying at home or moving out, ending something not quite worth it for something that might be perfect? Im so confused!!!!
At least Jess is home now, and Robin will be home in about a week. But then school starts... oooooooooooh im so confused!!! HELP!!! |

I saw something today that really got me annoyed...this is probably really insubstantial and stupid to a lot of people but it really really bugs me. Today I saw some stupid fucktard locking his bike up to a tree on campus right outside of dafoe. Like, okay, hes good for biking, hes good for locking it up, but for christ's sake theres a bike rack two feet away from you!!!! Instead of damaging the trees by wrapping a chain around it 80 times just lock it up on the freaking bike rack that my tuition dollars paid for!!!! Maybe im just a bit too sensitive about the environment or something...but come on! Maybe the guy is just stupid or something...i dunno. But here's what all bikers should do, leave the freaking trees alone, they are your friend, they let you take in those oh so sweet breathes of air, lock your bike up to those nice and 'non-hurtable' bike racks. yes i made up a word. So yeah, im done my ranting for now...just do me a favour and steal any bike you see locked up against a harmless and rather defenseless tree. |

Who the fuck does that woman think she is?! Who the hell thinks they can swear at an employee, verbally assault and intimidate them, treat them unfairly and not think its gonna come back and bite them in their ass?! I think one of two things; shes insane, or shes so fucking dumb she should wear a helmet and be strapped to a bed at all times and fully sedated. Can you tell Im angry?!?!?!? |

so today was the last straw...today I was sworn at, verbally assaulted, harassed, and outright denied the right to speak. I am of course talking about Anne, the bitch of the century whom I can honestly say I hate, really hate. Shes had it out for me since day one, shes sent her staff into the store to dig up dirt on me, she has emotionally abused my boss, and she is a just plain and simple cunt. I am giving my two weeks notice on monday, and if my boss will let me, they will be two weeks already worked. Goodbye you fucked up company, I hate you hate you hate you. And as for Anne, I am going to tell her off sooooooo bad. So if anyone knows of anywhere thats hiring PT for the fall :D send it my way. Btw, dont shop at chateau, dont work for chateau, just stay away, especially from that shit hole warehouse. |
